MICRON FILTER :-
Micron filter is made of miled steel sheet having inlet and out-let connections. The first stage of inlet has 13 coalescers filter cartridges and the second stage of out-let has 10 separator cartridges fitted on the end separator plates. The purpose of the coalescer cartridges is to remove Dust and other solid particles from the fuel and that of the separator cartridges is to remove the water from the fuel. An opening at the side is provided to inspect the interior, to clean and to change the filter cartridges. At the bottom of the tank a drain system is provided to drain the water separated out in the filter. The water separates out to the bottom due to the difference in density of fuel and water. This includes a 25 mm steel pipe, 25 mm ball valve, Elbow dust cap etc. To the Top of the filter an air eleminator is provided to Eliminate the air traped in the filter.
AIR ELEMINATOR :-
An Air Eleminator is provided on the top of the Micron filter to Eleminate Air from the filter.

PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE(P.C.V.) :- This is a 100*100 mm Restrictor type, diaphragm operated double beat valve designed to monitor the delivery pressure of the fuel for safe working. It controls the delivery pressure by sensing the pressure at the control venturies. The valve can be adjusted to very the delivery fuel pressure from 20 to 70 PSI with a maximum variation of 3 PSI from the set pressure, over the entire flow range. This fuel pressure variation is done by regulating the pressure of compressed Air supplied to the pressure chamber of the PCV from the Air Regulator. The Rubber diaphragm moves up and down as the pressure varies at the control vanturies, thus controlling the valve opening and closing, and there by the flow pressure.
